Chris Camron

PRESIDENT | LEO Pilot/Rescue Swimmer/Crew Chief/Ropes Master

Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Chris Cameron’s most formative years were spent split between time on the water and family farms. Chris has built a career defined by adventure, discipline, and service. After earning his degree from Mississippi State University, where he played SEC football for four years, Chris returned home to begin his professional journey.

Chris first made his mark as a professional diver, leading apex predator interactions around the globe with tiger sharks, alligators, and humpback whales to name a few. His unique work brought him face-to-face with some of the ocean’s most powerful creatures, cementing his reputation for calm and expertise in extreme environments.

While his career in the water continued to flourish, Chris’s true passion has always been aviation. Transitioning from the sea to the skies, he pursued his dream of professional flying with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Today, Chris serves as a dual-rated pilot, hoist operator, ropes master, and rescue swimmer, bringing his unmatched experience and dedication to the forefront of public safety and aviation operations.

Chris brings a unique, hands-on, real-world perspective to a wide variety of rescue scenarios. As someone who has climbed some of the world’s tallest summits and swum in some of the most remote oceans, his ability to approach chaos with calm has become the foundation of his skills as both an aviator and a rescuer.

Chris Cameron’s career reflects an unrelenting commitment to excellence, whether in the depths of the ocean, on the world’s highest peaks, or high above the ground.

“My belief in the Saddle and Sea Foundation stems from a deep belief that the richness of life and its experience provides a heart laden with societies burdens to gain perspective and find peace in the chaos.” - Chris Camron
